Wheelchair Access

Although The White Horse is a 300 year old listed building, we are pleased to welcome wheelchair customers. There are no steps to negotiate and doorways have proved wide enough for all wheelchairs, At least so far!.

Space has not allowed us to build specialised diasbled toilet facilities, however most customers have found our standard toilet accomodation adequate.

Advising us before your arrival will help us choose a comfortable location when dining.

Changing the text size and style
Users are able to customize their browser settings to make changes to the appearance of the site. This could include text sizes, text colour and background colour.

Normally, these settings can be found in the “View options” or “Preferences” menus of web browser software and there may be keyboard shortcuts assigned to them. Users are recommended to check their browser’s “Help” section for information on how to make these changes.

Screen readers
When using a screen reader it is always best to make the font as small as possible. This stops the text from wrapping which allows the screen reader to read it more easily.
